Due Diligence
No deal should go forward without due diligence, an investigation and independent assessment into the affairs of the business that checks the target is all it claims to be. Our role is to review financial records and help prospective acquirers validate the key assertions on which the proposed plan of action is to be based.
We provide the investor or purchaser with critical information, either to confirm representations made, or provide feedback to negotiate the terms. With the above mentioned, we can:
- Identify areas of potential risk and critical success factors and increase the likelihood of a successful deal
- Assess current management situation, in-depth analysis of historic performance, cash flow dynamics and working capital requirements.
- Evaluate the business’ financial systems, controls and procedures
- Identify strengths and weaknesses of the business target
- Provide valuation services
- Evaluate trends
- Analysis of the current tax position of the business
